Individuals or families, casual natural walkers or seasoned trekkers, everyone can feel excited on the mountainous area of Tzoumerka. Numerous paths and trails to cross, forests of firs and cedars covering the mountain slopes, can be found in the alpine zone of Tzoumerka. Enjoy a hiking tour, wander on the mountain trails and discover the hidden beauties of Tzoumerka.
All hiking tours are taking place all year long. Recommended seasons are Spring and Summer, when the green overwhelming nature succeeds a long period of snow covered forests and mountain peaks.
There are countless paths to choose from, however we recommend the below:
Setting our hotel as a starting point, there is a path lying on a south -south eastern course ,without any significant height changes. A route through the magnificent nature at the foot of Stroggoula Mountain, where either the Shelter of Melissourgoi or Pramanta can be found, depending on the trail we may choose. Leaving either Shelter behind, after one hour of walk through a lush forest, one of the most impressive waterfalls in Greece, Kefalovrysso waterfall, will be the end of our tour.
The whole duration of the hiking tour, should not exceed 2.5 hours.

Experience unique moments of relaxation and rejuvenation, while taming the crystal waters of Arachthos river, next to the historical stone bridge of Plaka. Vertical slopes, waterfalls and the terrain morphology may offer an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Arachthos River is unique for its variety of graded difficulty rafting routes. Spring and Autumn are the recommended seasons to enjoy rafting in Aracthos, as the water flowing at that time, is at its highest peak.
An easy and beautiful descent, ideal for beginners. The 9km descent starts at the bridge of Politsa in Abelochori and ends at the bridge of Plaka. This is considered as one of the most beautiful rafting routes in Greece, as also in Europe. More rafting routes with increased difficulty, for more experienced people, may be recommended by our skillful guides. The total duration of the rafting activity will not exceed 4.5 hours.

Day 1 Arrival at Orizontes Tzoumerkon Hotel
Upon arrival at the hotel, our friendly staff will welcome you and help you settle. Here is the ideal place to relax, read some of the books and magazines of our library or contemplate the colors of the spectacular mountain scenery. Finally you may dine at our restaurant.
Day 2 Descent of Arachthos
Descent of Arachthos river gorge accompanied by experienced guides and all necessary equipment provided. Experience unique moments of relaxation and rejuvenation while taming the crystal waters of Arachthos River next to the historical bridge of Plaka.Vertical slopes, waterfalls and the terrain morphology may offer an unforgettable experience for the whole family. The whole activity lasts approximately five hours.
Day 3 MOUNTAIN HIKING
Discover the countless paths, hidden in the lush forests of Tzoumerka. Starting either from the mountain shelters of Melissourgoi or Pramanta village, one can wander through the heart of the mountain up to the waterfall of Kefalovrysso. The specific waterfall is considered one of the most impressive in Greece, almost 350m in height. All the necessary instructions and descriptions will be provided by experienced guides, who will accompany you in this four hours mountain walk.
The aggregate cost includes three dinners in our restaurant, snacks provided by our hotel during your activities, as well as a free tour of the cave Anemotrypa in village of Pramanta. All mountain hiking activities are accompanied by experienced and qualified guides taking all necessary safety measures.
